Marie F. Abbondanza Memorial Scholarship

Marie Abbondanza had a firm belief that a college education was a gateway to a more productive life and endowed those accepting the challenge with an enlightened view of the world around them, a greater ability to affect the lives that they touched and skills to return to their families and communities the blessings that they themselves received. Applicants must be a current or incoming student attending either full or part time and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. If the applicant is a single parent, involved with extracurricular activities or has volunteer work experience these will be considered as well. 1 letter of recommendation is required from a current teacher, employer, civic or spirtual leader highlighting their qualities of family values, integrity and sense of personal achievement.
