Louise Henry Memorial Scholarship

Louise Henry was clan mother to the Turtle Clan of the Tuscarora Nation. She graduated from SUNY Niagara at the age of 66. Throughout her life, Louise was a beadwork artist and her work is a symbol of Tuscarora art and culture. The scholarship is open to enrolled Tuscarora residents or Native American territory residents of the Tuscarora community. Applicants can be an incoming or current student and must have earned at least a 2.0 GPA in high school or college. 3 letters of recommendation are required and cannot be members of immediate family.
