Irene M. Frosolone Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Alfred Frosolone in loving memory of his wife, Irene. She was born in Diepoldsau, St. Gallen, Switzerland and emigrated to the United States in 1977. Irene studied voice at the Conservatory of Music in Zurich and shared her God-given gift for singing at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine and at several other parishes in Niagara County. In 2020 Irene passed away from cancer. Alfred and his family extend their heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, aides, doctors, and professionals for their compassionate care of Irene. This scholarship is established to help SUNY Niagara students achieve their educational goals in Allied Health or Music. Applicants must be accepted in the Allied Health or Music program and either full or part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Include in your essay information on career goals and appreciation of music.
