Empire State Diversity Honor Scholarship
The New York State budget includes funds for SUNY to administer this scholarship for students from a broad range of backgrounds who will contribute to the diversity of the student body in their chosen program or school. Applicants must be a New York State resident and an incoming or current student attending either full or part-time and have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must demonstrate that they have overcome a disadvantage or other impediment to success in higher education. Examples could be economic disadvantage or membership in a racial/ethnic group that is underrepresented in the program or school.
